For patients with cervical spondylosis, there is no so-called three minute relief method. Generally, the treatment plan should be selected according to the type of cervical spondylosis, mainly including cervical traction, acupuncture and moxibustion and massage, and surgical treatment.
1. Cervical traction: For nerve root type cervical spondylosis or vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis, cervical traction can be used to treat the problem of local nerve root and vertebral artery compression, thereby alleviating symptoms.
2. Acupuncture and moxibustion and massage: For cervical spondylosis and sympathetic cervical spondylosis, acupuncture and moxibustion point stimulation can be used in combination with massage to relax the neck muscles and dredge the meridians, which can alleviate the symptoms.
3. Surgical treatment: For more severe types of cervical spondylosis, such as cervical spondylotic myelopathy, surgical treatment is generally necessary to prevent severe spinal cord damage in the later stage, and traction or massage cannot be used for treatment.
In addition to the above treatment methods, exercise rehabilitation methods can also be combined in daily life, such as doing more cervical exercises, exercising the core muscles of the cervical spine, improving the stability of the cervical spine, and helping to alleviate symptoms.
