Fructus Amomi is the fruit or seed of tropical and subtropical plants in the ginger family, and is a commonly used aromatic medicinal herb in traditional Chinese medicine.
There are three main sources of medicinal sand kernels: one is spring sand mainly produced in Guangdong Province, China, the other is shell sand from Hainan Province, China, and the other is compact sand, mainly produced in Southeast Asian countries. Sha Ren has a spicy and warm taste, which can regulate the spleen, stomach, and kidney meridians. It can dispel dampness, stimulate appetite, warm the spleen to stop diarrhea, regulate qi, and promote fetal safety. Commonly used for obstruction of dampness and turbidity, epigastric distension without hunger, spleen and stomach deficiency and cold, vomiting and diarrhea, pregnancy obstruction, fetal restlessness, etc. Especially effective for superficial gastritis, duodenal ulcers, bloating, and stomach pain. Regular consumption has the health benefits of nourishing the stomach and spleen, warming the lungs and nourishing the kidneys.
Effect and function
Moisturizing and appetizing, warming the spleen and stopping diarrhea, regulating qi and calming the fetus. Indications: Used for obstruction of dampness and turbidity, epigastric distension without hunger, spleen and stomach deficiency and cold, vomiting and diarrhea, pregnancy obstruction, and fetal restlessness. Usage and Dosage: 3-6 grams. It is recommended to add the decoction and then pour it down.
Chunsha Ren: Shan'an Tai Yangchun Sha Ren, also known as Chunsha Ren or Sha Ren, is a dry and mature fruit of the ginger family plant Yangchun Sha or Hainan Sha. It is mainly produced in the Yangchun region of Guangdong Province and Hainan Province, and is therefore also known as Yangchun Sha. It is regarded as an authentic medicinal herb, with the best quality being a large, plump, and strong aroma. This medicinal herb has a warm nature and a pungent taste that belongs to the spleen, stomach, and kidney meridians. It has the effects of dispelling dampness and promoting qi, regulating qi and relieving depression, warming the spleen and reducing growth, calming pregnancy and preventing vomiting. It is used to treat symptoms such as abdominal distension, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery, and fetal restlessness. Notes:
1. Those with yin deficiency and heat should avoid taking it.
2. "Haiyao Bencao": "Obtaining good qualities such as Hezi, Turtle Shell, Cardamom, and White Cattle."
3. "The Classic of Materia Medica" states: "All abdominal pain is caused by fire, diarrhea is caused by summer heat, fetal movement is caused by blood heat, pharyngeal pain is caused by fire inflammation, pediatric prolapse is caused by qi deficiency, swelling is caused by damp heat, upper qi cough is caused by fire rushing to the lungs but not by cold, all of which require careful observation and identification, and are difficult to generalize."
