3. Origin distribution
Adults often overwinter under soil, stones, and crevices, and fly out every March. Distributed in southwestern, southern, and eastern regions of China, as well as Hubei, Hunan, and other regions.

Experiments have shown that the Nine Fragrant Insects have strong inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhi, Salmonella paratyphi A, and Shigella flexneri in vitro. Its decoction has strong fibrinolytic and analgesic effects. The anti-cancer and anti-cancer elements manganese and magnesium in Jiuxiangchong are relatively high, which may have anti-cancer effects.
