Perennial herbs. Root inverted conical, fleshy. The stem is scattered, with multiple bifurcated branches, reaching up to 35 centimeters in length. Leaves ovate, 1.5-2.5 cm long, sparsely pilose above, nearly sessile. Flowers bisexual, with a diameter of 3-5 millimeters, densely covered with glandular hairs. Pedicels short or sessile, calyx tubular bell shaped, 4-6 mm long, longitudinal veins green, densely covered with glandular hairs, calyx teeth 5, triangular ovate, petals 5, 7-8 mm long. Stamens 5, extending calyx, ovary narrowly obovate, approximately 7 millimeters long. The seeds are brown and about 3 millimeters long. 3. Origin distribution
Born in gravel hillsides, calcareous rock fractures or under forests along the Jinsha River and the Yarlung Zangbo River at an altitude of 900-3800 meters. It is distributed in Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and Xizang.
