[Prescription] 10 grams each of Astragalus membranaceus, Chezirou, Dried Rehmannia glutinosa, Wumei, and Siegesia scabra, 3 grams of Chaihu, 6 grams of Fangfeng, and 30 grams of honey (mixed).
[Addition and subtraction] For those who experience cold symptoms such as fear of cold, white moss, and thin veins, add asarum and piper root; For those who have a lot of clear mucus, add pomegranate peel and Yizhiren, and have recurrent attacks that are difficult to cure, increase the dosage of Huangqi, Chaihu, and Fangfeng.

02 Yupingfeng Powder Modified Treatment for Allergic Rhinitis
[Prescription] 20g of Astragalus membranaceus, 10g of Atractylodes macrocephala, 6g of Fangfeng and Xinyuhua each, 9g of Xanthium sibiricum, and 5g of Moxibustion licorice.
[Usage] Take 1 dose daily and decoct in water.

[Usage] Take an appropriate amount of cantharidin powder and mix it with water or honey to make a thick paste. The patient is placed in a supine or supine position, and the Yin Tang acupoint is wiped clean. Take a small piece of adhesive tape, cut a hole in the middle that is the size of a soybean seed, first stick it to the Yin Tang acupoint, then apply the medicine powder directly into the small hole, cover it with adhesive tape, and remove it after 24 hours. 05 Cang'er Oil Formula for Treating Rhinitis
[Formula] 15-20 capsules of Xanthium sibiricum, 50g of soybean oil.
[Method] After frying the Xanthium sibiricum, boil the soybean oil until it is foam free, then add the Xanthium sibiricum until it is black and charred. Filter with gauze. Soak the filtered medicinal oil in gauze strips (1 cm x 4 cm) for later use. Take an oil gauze strip and place it on both lower turbinates. Apply the medicine once every other day or once a day. You can also use this oil to drip into the nose, once a day.

06 Garlic paste for treating rhinitis
[Prescription] Take equal parts of Xiangfu and Longong, and an appropriate amount of garlic.
[Method] Crush the medicine into a cake and set aside. Adhere to the fontanelle. And use moxa sticks to separate medicine and suspend moxibustion.
[Effect] Dispel cold, regulate qi, and detoxify. The old man has a runny nose.

07 Keminling for treating allergic rhinitis
[Formula] 2 portions of white mustard seeds, 1 portion of Xuanhu, Gansui, Dingxiang, Baizhi, and Xixin each.
[Preparation and Usage] Grind the upper medicine into fine powder, pass through an 80 mesh sieve, mix with fresh ginger juice to form a paste, and store in a storage tank for later use. Take out a certain amount of ointment with a small spoon and place it in the center of a 4 cm x 4 cm gauze cotton pad. Apply it to the Dazhui, Feishu (Shuang), Gao Blind (Shuang), Shenshu (Shuang), and Tanzhong acupoints. Fix with adhesive tape for 3 hours each time, apply once every 5 days, and apply three times. 1 course of treatment.

08 Compound Musk Cream for Treating Allergic Rhinitis
[Prescription] Take equal parts of white mustard, Asarum, Gansui, and Magnolia, with an appropriate amount of musk.
[Method] Grind the first four medicines into fine powder and store in a bottle for later use. Musk finely ground and packaged separately. Take an appropriate amount of medicinal powder and mix it with ginger juice to make a paste, making a medicinal cake as big as copper coins. Add a small amount of musk to the medicinal surface and apply it to the acupoints of Feishu (Shuang), Gao Blind (Shuang), and Bai Lao (Shuang) respectively. After applying it for 6-8 hours each time, remove it. Apply the medicine once every 10 days, 3-6 times as a course of treatment.

09 External use of garlic juice for treating rhinitis
[Prescription] Garlic (choose purple skin garlic as the best).
[Instructions] Wash garlic, mash it like mud, filter out its juice, mix it with physiological saline to form 40% garlic liquid, or mix it with glycerol to form 50% garlic oil. At the same time, apply cotton swab dipping solution to the nasal cavity three times a day.
[Efficacy] Treating atrophic rhinitis. Symptoms include headache, nasal congestion, decreased or absent sense of smell, yellow green scabs adhering to the nasal cavity, dry nose, runny or yellow green foul smelling nose, bleeding, etc.
[Verification] According to the 1957 issue of the Chinese Journal of Otolaryngology, 20 cases of atrophic rhinitis were treated, with 10 cases cured, 9 cases improved, and 1 case ineffective.
10 Xinyuhua Powder for Nasal Sinusitis Treatment
[Prescription] 15 grams of Xinyuhua, 10 grams of Bai Zhi and Cang Er Zi each, and 5 grams of Guizhi.
[Method] Dry and grind the upper medicine, sieve it, and bottle it for later use. After dinner every day, take 1 gram of medicine powder, 2 pieces of double-layer gauze with a size of 13 inches. Divide the medicine powder into 2 medicine balls, tie them tightly with cotton yarn, and leave about 1 inch of thread. First, insert one medicine ball into one nostril, exhale and inhale through the other nostril; After 1 hour, pull out the medicine ball and insert another medicine ball into the opposite nostril. Generally, improvement occurs within about 5 days. 10 days is a course of treatment. Mild cases can be cured with 2 courses, while severe cases can also alleviate various symptoms.
[Efficacy] It is effective in treating sinusitis.
[Verification] Lv XX, female, 40 years old, diagnosed in June 1987. Nasal congestion, headache, and speech dullness have been present for more than 10 years. Despite multiple treatments, they have been ineffective. After using medication to block the nose, the effect immediately becomes apparent. After being blocked for 2 hours, the nasal cavity becomes unobstructed and the headache significantly improves. Treatment should be persisted for 1 month and the condition will be resolved.

11 Garlic patch formula for treating sinusitis
[Formula] Garlic in moderation (single headed garlic is especially good).

12 Cang'er Powder for Treating Nasal Abyss

[Preparation and Usage] The upper medicine is finely ground and stored in a bottle for future use. Do not deflate. Use a small amount of disinfectant cotton to wrap it thinly and stuff it into the affected nostrils. 1-2 times a day, with 10 days as one course of treatment. Continue the next course of treatment intermittently every 3-5 days until fully recovered.
