Qingling acupoint is one of the commonly used acupoints in the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian, derived from the Taiping Shenghui Formula and referred to as Qingling Spring in the Introduction to Medicine. Green refers to the appearance of hair growth, spirit refers to the deity, and the heart is the official of the monarch. It stores spirit through the orifices, and this acupoint is the place where pulse energy grows, hence the name Qingling.

【 Functional Indications 】
Function: Dispelling wind and relieving pain. Regulating Qi, broadening the chest, and calming the heart
Indications: Yellow eyes, headache, chills, flank pain, shoulder and arm pain, shoulder and arm weakness, upper limb weakness, shoulder and arm pain, muscle spasms in the scapula and forearm, axillary swelling and pain, intercostal neuralgia, heart pain, angina pectoris, unclear vision, neuropathic headache, etc.
Clinical application
1: Qingling, together with Shaohai and Lingdao, can effectively treat upper limb paralysis.
2: Qingling paired with Quchi to treat shoulder and arm pain.
3: Qingling paired with shoulder skull and Quchi to treat shoulder and arm pain.
4: Qingling paired with Quchi has the effect of relaxing tendons, unblocking collaterals, and relieving pain. It is mainly used to treat shoulder and arm pain, as well as shoulder periarthritis.
5: Qingling, combined with Guangming and Hegu, has the effect of clearing the liver and brightening the eyes, and is used to treat eye diseases and headaches.
6: Qingling combined with Tianjing and Fenglong has the effects of invigorating the spleen, resolving phlegm, promoting blood stasis and dispersing nodules, and is mainly used to treat axillary lymphadenitis.
