The Four Whites refer to the appearance of white eyes above, below, left, and right. The Book of Changes also states that there are many white eyes. This acupoint is located 1 inch below the eye and is surrounded by four sides, with no decorations or visible light. Therefore, it is named Sibai. Also, because the acupoint is located under the eye, the eye can see everything. This acupoint is used to treat dizziness, redness, itching, and clouding of the eyes. Acupuncture can make the vision bright and radiant, hence the name Four Whites.

Eyes red, painful, itchy, blurred, eyelid movement, tearing in the wind, acute and chronic conjunctivitis, keratitis, myopia, optic nerve atrophy, head and face pain, dizziness, mouth eye deviation, facial wind, rhinitis, paranasal sinusitis, biliary ascariasis, trigeminal neuralgia, etc., are commonly used acupuncture points in ophthalmic surgery.
Clinical application
1: Sibai acupoint combined with Tongziliao, Yifeng, and Jiache to treat trigeminal neuralgia (second branch).
2: Four white matches with Yangbai, Dicang, Fengchi, Hegu to treat facial paralysis, etc.
3: Four white combinations of Tai Chong, Jing Ming, and Feng Long can treat eyelid movement, blurred vision, and glaucoma.
4: Paired with Yangbai, Tongziliao, and Zanzhu, it is used to treat incomplete eyelid closure.
5: Four white matches with the sun, Tai Chong, and treats red eyes.
6: Four White Pairs with Fenglong, Taibai, and Taichong have the effects of clearing phlegm and collaterals, soothing the liver and improving eyesight. It is mainly used to treat eye shadow, eyelid movement, and glaucoma.
7: Four White Pairs with Cheek Che, Cuan Zhu, and Sun, have the function of promoting meridians and activating collaterals, and are mainly used to treat mouth and eye deviation, as well as keratitis.
