Urgent means rapid, and the pulse refers to the meridians and arteries. This acupoint is located on the inner side of the thigh root, and the local artery (femoral artery) responds rapidly to the hand, hence the name "urgent pulse".

【 Guijing Positioning 】
Gui Jing: Belongs to the Foot Jue Yin Liver Meridian.
Positioning: Located on the outer side of the pubic tubercle in the human body, at the pulsation of the femoral artery in the lower abdominal groove outside the Qi Chong acupoint, 2.5 inches away from the anterior midline.

Effect: It can generate wind and dampness, regulate the liver and gallbladder, and regulate the circulation of heat. The rapid pulse acupoint has the functions of regulating the lower energizer and relieving hernia pain.

2: Treating lower limb paralysis and infantile paralysis with acupoints including Yinbao, Jimen, Ququan, and Zuwuli.
3: Paired with Taichong and Ququan, it has the effect of soothing the liver, promoting qi circulation, and relieving pain, and is mainly used for treating hernias.
4: Paired with Guan Yuan and Gui Gui, it has the effect of regulating qi and relieving pain, and is mainly used for treating mild abdominal pain.
