Fuliu acupoint, also known as a meridian acupoint, is one of the acupoints in the lower limbs of the human body. From "Ling Shu: Ben Shu", also known as Changyang, Fubai, and Waiming. Fu Liu: Fu, never again. Slipping, quietly disappearing. The name Fu Liu refers to the water and dampness of the kidney meridian absorbing heat and evaporating upwards again here. The substance in this acupoint is the cold and humid water vapor transmitted from the Zhaohai acupoint. After ascending to this acupoint, it absorbs the heat from the sky again and evaporates, causing the loss of qi and blood to slip away, hence the name Fuliu.

Guijing: Belonging to the Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian.
Positioning: Located on the inner side of the calf, 2 inches above the Taixi acupoint, in front of the Achilles tendon.
【 Indications and Functions 】
Effect: Tonifying kidney and nourishing yin, warming yang and promoting diuresis.
Indications: Nephritis, orchitis, urinary tract infection, sequelae of poliomyelitis, myelitis, functional uterine bleeding, peritonitis, hemorrhoids, lumbar muscle strain, insomnia due to insufficient kidney water, bloating, bowel sounds, edema, diarrhea, night sweats, spontaneous sweating, athlete's foot, leg swelling, urinary tract infection.
Clinical Application
1: Fuliu acupoint combined with Zhongji acupoint and Yinggu acupoint for relieving and treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;
2: Fuliu acupoint combined with Houxi acupoint and Yingui acupoint can relieve and treat persistent night sweats.
3: The combination of Fuliu acupoint and Gu acupoint has the function of harmonizing the Ying and Wei, and is mainly used for treating excessive sweating, no sweating or low sweating.
4: Fuliu acupoint, combined with Ganyu acupoint and Bishu acupoint, has the effects of soothing the liver, benefiting the kidneys, strengthening the spleen, and removing dampness. It is mainly used for treating diarrhea and edema.
