7. The opposite prescription for treating facial paralysis
[Formula] 10 grams each of Pinellia ternata, Melon Basket, Fritillaria thunbergii, Atractylodes macrocephala, Atractylodes macrocephala, and Atractylodes macrocephala, 9 grams of Aconitum carmichaelii, and 12 grams of Mustard Seed.
[Instructions] Grind the medicine into fine powder, add aged rice vinegar and stir fry until hot, then put it in a bag made of 2 layers of gauze. Take the medicine bag and apply it to the healthy side of the face (left side slanted on the right side, right side slanted on the left side). Wrap and fix it with a bandage. After the medicine cools down, stir fry and apply again.
[Effect] Dispels wind, moistens meridians, and unblocks collaterals.
[Verification] According to multiple clinical validations, the effect is very good, usually cured within 3-7 days.

8. Compound Tianniu ointment for treating facial paralysis
[Formula] 286g Tianniuchong, 500g Chuanxiong, 500g Danggui, 600g Huanglian, 360g Huangdan.
[Instructions] Grind the beetle into a fine sieve of 120 mesh and set aside for later use. Add 2500ml of Chuanxiong, Danggui, Huanglian, and edible vegetable oil to a pot and fry until dry. Filter the residue and boil until the water drips into beads. Take Huangdan and add it to the oil, stir well, and collect the paste. After melting the paste over low heat, add beetle powder and stir well. Spread it evenly on a piece of paper. Each ointment weighs 2 grams and contains 0.2 grams of beetle powder. The ingredients can be used to make 1450 sheets. At the same time, the main acupoints on the affected side are Tinggong, Xiaguan, and Yifeng, and the supporting acupoints are Jiache, Taiyang, and Dazhui. After selecting the acupoints, moisten and melt the plaster, apply one sheet to each main acupoint, and adjust the number of acupoints according to the condition. Replace once every 5 days, which is one course of treatment. The total course of treatment shall not exceed 35 days.
[Effect] Relieve wind and promote blood circulation, unblock meridians and activate collaterals.
[Verification] 315 cases were treated, with a cure rate of 78.41% and an effective rate of 95.24%. 15 cases were ineffective, 35 cases showed significant improvement, and 18 cases improved.

9. The miraculous effect of using ointment to treat facial paralysis
[Formula] 30g of tooth soap, 30g of Chao Nao, and 0.3g of Musk.
[Instructions] Grind the tooth soap into fine powder, mix it with Chao Nao and Musk, add an appropriate amount of sesame oil, blend into a paste, and bottle for later use. Apply an appropriate amount of ointment before bedtime. First, wash the affected side with warm soapy water, then apply the medicine between the underground chamber and the Xiaguan acupoint, about 1 horizontal finger wide, and fix it with gauze. Take it down the next morning. Once a day, until the degree increases.
[Effect] Dispels wind and unblocks meridians.

10. Fu Wu San for treating facial paralysis
[Formula] 15 grams each of cooked aconite and processed Sichuan black, and 30 grams of frankincense.
[Instructions] Grind the medicine into fine powder and divide it into 8-10 packets for later use. When using, take 1 packet of medicine powder, add 3 grams of ginger powder and mix well. Mix with boiling water to make a paste, and it can be used. First, instruct the patient to apply hot ginger to the affected area until it becomes locally congested. Then, apply the medicine paste to the affected side (up to the temple and down to the Dicang acupoint), with a width of about 3 centimeters. Cover with gauze and secure with adhesive tape. And instruct the patient to apply hot compress with a hot water bottle. Change the dressing once a day until the condition improves.
[Effect] Warm meridians, dispel cold, and unblock collaterals.
[Validation] Treatment of 15 cases, with a course of disease ranging from 2 months to over 6 months. For those who take medication continuously for 5-10 days within six months, and for those who take medication for more than six months, they will recover within 15 days.

11. Tian Di Gao treats facial paralysis
[Formula] Tianma, Nanxing, Diamond Ground Wind, White Silkworm, White Silkworm, 7.5 grams each, 5 croton (peeled), 500 grams of fresh ginger.
[Instructions] Grind the first 6 ingredients into fine powder and mix with ginger juice to make a paste. Set aside for later use. When using, take the appropriate medication and apply it to the healthy side of the patient's face (on the right side, on the left side, on the right side). Cover it with gauze and fix it with adhesive tape. It can be removed after 7-8 hours and changed once a day.
[Effect] Warm meridians, dispel cold, dispel wind and unblock meridians.
450 cases were treated, with a course of disease ranging from 1 week to 5 years. Generally, one dose is enough to cure, with an effective rate of over 90%.
