1. Alias

2. Plant morphology

Cylindrical, often bent or twisted, or branched. Hard in texture, not easily broken, with dust flying when broken. The cross-section is yellow white in color, with a radiating white color. Odorless, bitter taste.

Take 5-9 grams and decoct. Use to treat phlegm retention, chest and diaphragm congestion, and malaria.
9. Pharmacological research
Has antipyretic, antihypertensive, and emetic effects. The total extract has good therapeutic effects on both artificially cultured malignant malaria parasites and animal experimental malaria parasites. The efficacy of Changshan alkaline B against amoebic protozoa is twice that of imitidine. Animal experiments have shown that Changshan alkali A, Changshan alkali B, and Changshan alkali C can lower blood pressure.
