The inflorescence is axillary, usually with 3 flowers, and can reach up to 15 flowers; The total stem length is about 5mm, and the stem is extremely short, about 1-2mm long; 2 bracts, linear, 1 long. 5mm bracteoles are scaly and flaky; Calyx tube bell shaped, 1.5-2mm long, initially narrow at the base, semi spherical when firm, slightly distinct edges 4-8, serrations 4, broad triangle; Petals 4, purple or white, nearly circular, early falling, sometimes without petals; Stamens 4-8, about half protruding above calyx lobes; The ovary is spherical, about 1mm long, and the style is equal or longer than the ovary.
