Many people mistakenly believe that if they have coronary heart disease, they only need to rest, but this is not the case. Moderate daily exercise can improve endothelial function, stabilize coronary artery plaques, improve cardiopulmonary function, and reduce readmission and mortality rates. However, exercise is indeed a matter of concern for patients with coronary heart disease.

Avoid holding your breath. Cardiovascular disease patients can engage in low-intensity, long-term exercise on a daily basis, but they should avoid holding their breath. Because holding one's breath can lead to insufficient peripheral blood supply, which can easily cause cerebral ischemia and angina.
02 Choose appropriate exercise as long as it does not exceed the physical range. Walking, slow walking, brisk walking, climbing stairs or gentle slopes are all suitable for cardiovascular disease patients. During exercise, a certain level of intensity is required to achieve results, but excessive exercise intensity can have the opposite effect.
Extending warm-up time: Healthy individuals generally need 5-10 minutes of warm-up exercise, while cardiovascular disease patients can extend it to 15-20 minutes.
Finally, it should be reminded that once coronary heart disease patients start exercising, they should closely monitor their physical reactions. If they feel tired the next morning after exercise, their exercise center rate increases or decreases, their blood pressure is abnormal, their exercise ability decreases, they cannot communicate freely due to shortness of breath, and their complexion is pale, they should immediately stop and adjust their exercise plan under the guidance of a doctor.
