Clinical Application
1. To treat jaundice, crush fresh buttercup into balls (such as soybean paste), tie them to the arm, and let them bubble overnight. Use a needle to puncture and release the yellow water, and the jaundice will heal on its own. (Compilation of Medicinal Materials)
2. To treat malaria, crush fresh grass and apply it to the acupoint of the inch mouth (Taiyuan), wrap it with cloth, and after 1 hour, blisters will appear on the skin. Remove the medicine and use a needle to puncture the blisters. (Hunan Pharmaceutical Journal)
3. To treat migraines, use fresh roots of buttercup and a small amount of salt to crush and apply to the affected temple.
