Therefore, I often use self formulated Yanggan Xifeng Decoction in clinical practice, and the effect is quite good.

Commentary:
There are many reasons that can cause dizziness and vertigo, but liver and kidney yin deficiency and internal wind disturbance (including hypertension and neurasthenia) are more common.
Through long-term observation and exploration, traditional Chinese medicine has accumulated rich theoretical knowledge and diagnostic and therapeutic experience in the etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment criteria of this disease.
Under the theoretical guidance of "Su Wen • Zhi Zhen Yao Lun" that "dizziness in all heads belongs to the wind, and the loss of dizziness in all winds belongs to the liver", treating this disease by starting with nourishing the liver and extinguishing the wind is in line with the principles of the classics.
Regarding the treatment methods, according to various insights proposed by famous Qing dynasty scholars, such as "tonifying the liver and calming the stomach", "calming the yang and extinguishing the wind", "nourishing the blood and softening the liver", they have practical and reference value. Through learning, combined with personal experience, and analysis and induction, "nourishing the liver and extinguishing the wind" has been determined as the treatment method and formula name for this disease.
Due to the chronic nature of this disease, multiple doses are required for it to take effect. Therefore, a combination of drugs with a mild taste and no excessive coldness or dryness is chosen to avoid bias, resulting in significant clinical efficacy.
Due to factors such as excessive use of the brain, late sleep, emotional tension, and mental stimulation, the cerebral cortex becomes excessively fatigued, which can easily lead to the occurrence of this disease.
Therefore, during the process of taking medication, it is necessary to maintain physical and mental stability, be optimistic in the face of difficulties, and participate in mild sports activities such as qigong, tai chi, disco, etc. appropriately. Be diligent in daily life and have a balanced diet.
Strict control should be exercised over fatty and sweet foods, tobacco and alcohol, as well as spicy and hot foods such as sea peppers, peppercorns, ginger, and fried foods. Close cooperation with treatment can improve the therapeutic effect.
Kind reminder: Everyone's physical condition is different, and the formulas provided in this article should be adjusted according to the preferences of enthusiasts. It is recommended to seek guidance from a professional doctor.
