For those with symptoms of illness, they need to distinguish between yin and yang carefully. The Banxia Xiexin Tang mentioned in the previous period is a commonly used basic formula for treating stomach diseases in my clinical practice, but mainly with damp heat as the main symptom, that is, yang syndrome. If the stomach disease is caused by deficiency and cold, I often use Lizhong Tang as the basic formula (that is, the disease caused by yin syndrome). Fuzi Lizhong Tang is made by adding Fuzi on the basis of Lizhong Tang, suitable for those with severe deficiency and cold. It has the effects of tonifying deficiency and returning yang, warming the middle and dispersing cold. Fuzi Lizhong Tang is the name of a traditional Chinese medicine formula, which is a tonic and comes from Volume 2 of the "Three Causes Extreme Disease Syndrome Formula Theory".

Analysis of Soup Formula
In the soup, Fuzi is used to warm and nourish the spleen and kidneys, ginseng is used to nourish qi and benefit the spleen, Atractylodes macrocephala is used to strengthen the spleen and dry dampness, licorice is used to nourish the soil, and dried ginger is used to warm the stomach and dispel cold. In Zheng Qin'an's "True Biography of Medical Theory," it is said that "without Fuzi, the true yang that desires to be eliminated cannot be saved, and without ginger surgery, the earth qi of the central palace cannot be cultivated." Ginseng's slight coldness has the meaning of combining hardness and softness, while licorice's ability to harmonize the upper and lower parts is the most effective in soothing the middle. Proper combination of the five herbs can treat various syndromes such as middle and lower burner deficiency cold and fire not generating earth. Fangzhong Fuzi warms and replenishes innate true yang, Baizhu strengthens the spleen and dries dampness, replenishes the soil of the central palace, dried ginger warms the stomach and disperses cold, ginseng replenishes qi and benefits yin, roasted licorice replenishes acquired spleen soil, and blends various medicines.
