Infant and toddler blood pressure:
I often hear people say to me, 'Infants and young children have no blood pressure!' Do children really have no blood pressure? no, it isn't. The younger the child, the lower their blood pressure. The systolic blood pressure of children over one year old can be calculated as: age x 2+80mm mercury column, and the diastolic blood pressure is about 1/2~2/3 of the systolic blood pressure. The systolic blood pressure of the lower limbs is 20 millimeters of mercury (2.75 kPa) higher than that of the upper limbs.
Hypertension and Hypotension:
A 20mm mercury column (2.75kpa) above this standard is considered hypertension, while a 20mm mercury column (2.75kpa) below this standard is considered hypotension.
Common diseases:
Elevated blood pressure is commonly seen in diseases such as acute nephritis and intracranial hypertension in children; Low blood pressure is commonly seen in severe dehydration, dehydration, heart yin deficiency, and dysmenorrhea.

Age 1 year old, blood pressure (kPa) 11
