If it is lost, the nine orifices will be closed internally, the muscles will be blocked externally, and the Wei Qi will be released. This is called self injury, and the Qi will be reduced. "-" Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon, Su Wen, Qi Qi Tong Tian Lun Chapter 3 "
When it is lost, the nine orifices are closed internally, the muscles are blocked externally, and the Wei Qi is released. This is called self injury and the reduction of Qi
What has been lost by 'losing'? Without the vitality of the heavens as we mentioned earlier, purity leads to the governance of one's will. The first one has lost "purity", so "intention" - that is, spirit - is not coordinated; What did the second one lose? What has been lost is the principle of 'the order of this cause and time', and the principle of 'regulating the four qi and the spirit' that follows the nature of heaven and earth and the changes of yin and yang in the four seasons; What did the third one lose? What is lost is the sage's "passing on the spirit, submitting to the weather and connecting with the gods". The third and most important point that is lost is called "passing on the spirit", and what is lost is "concentration". What happens when all three points are lost? The first is that without "spiritual governance," "will and will," without "governance," will collapse, and the inner self will collapse; Without the second 'chronological order', the disorder of the body's qi will occur, because the four seasons refer to the four qi in nature, and it talks about the concept of qi circulation. After the order of the Yang Qi cycle is lost, the corresponding Qi circulation in the human body will also be disrupted. Once the Qi circulation is disrupted, one will get sick; The third one is the loss of the 'transmission spirit', which is the frequent mental laxity.
As we will discuss later, once the yang energy dissipates, the person becomes exhausted and lacks energy. Their essence, qi, and spirit are weak, and when they feel tired, their yang energy opens up. Just like a flower, before it blooms, the yang energy gathers and is about to bloom. After fully opening, the whole flower opens and the yang energy dissipates, and then begins to decline. So what ancient Chinese people said is very important, which is to gather the spirit and not let it completely dissipate. Don't let the human body be like a flower, completely open, completely dissipated, completely 'exhausted when tired', and the yang energy will be consumed. Therefore, if one loses purity, loses the "order of time", and loses the "transmission of spirit", problems will arise and one will "close the nine orifices internally". We have previously discussed the combination of the anterior and posterior yin, as well as the seven orifices - two eyes, two nostrils, two ears, and one mouth - which make up the nine orifices. After losing the rules of health preservation, the nine orifices will be closed internally, and the nine orifices will be blocked and blocked; 'External obstruction of muscles' refers to the stagnation of qi and blood within the muscles, while' Wei Qi disperses and dissolves', resulting in weakened and unstable Wei Qi; This is self harm, which gives rise to self harm. This is the weakening of qi, the 'reduction of qi', the weakening of qi, the weakening. Overall, we can see that Qi travels throughout the human body, with the nine orifices inside and muscles outside.
If purity leads to peace and tranquility, 'purity leads to the governance of will and intention'; Disturbing will lead to chaos, one annoyance, one disturbance will lead to chaos. Anhe promotes internal and external communication. With Anhe, both internal and external communication can be achieved smoothly; If there is chaos, it will be blocked. Once there is chaos, it will be blocked. Where is the blockage? Blocked in the muscles, where is it closed? Closed in the nine orifices. Therefore, after being blocked, 'Wei Qi also becomes sick'. What is Wei Qi? The Ling Shu Jing, also known as the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon, is divided into two parts: the Su Wen and Ling Shu. It explains that "those who guard the Qi are those who warm the flesh, fill the skin, smooth the pores, and promote opening and closing. Wei Qi is very important. It is not only the external Qi of the body, but also "warms the flesh and fills the skin", forming a protective layer for the entire human body, just like the Earth has an atmosphere to protect it, the human body also has an external layer of Wei Qi to protect it. It is "warming the flesh, filling the skin, fertilizing the pores, and opening and closing the pores", which means that when the protective qi is released, the yang qi is dispersed, the protective qi is closed, and the yang qi is solid and dense. It means "fertilizing the pores, opening and closing the pores". If we say 'internal closure and external obstruction', the inner nine orifices will be closed, the external muscles will be blocked, and the Wei Qi will be released. The most important function of Wei Qi is to "defend the outside and solidify it". The most important function of Wei Qi is to seal it tightly, preventing external "evil and thief winds" from entering, serving as a protective layer. If the internal closure and external blockage disrupt the qi flow, the Wei Qi will be released. What does this' release 'mean? It's just that after the qi is in chaos, it doesn't disperse, and once the guard qi is completely dispersed, it can't be contained. Such people will get sick, and they will also suffer from serious illnesses - serious illnesses and illnesses, which is called "self injury". When they suffer from internal injuries, they will "reduce their Qi", which also means to reduce, weaken, and diminish.
From this, we can see that the original text in the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon is explaining that if a person does not conform to the way of nature, firstly, their heart is impure, secondly, they do not conform to the laws of yin and yang health preservation in the four seasons, and thirdly, they cannot concentrate and concentrate. Without these three points, it will lead to the breakdown, blockage, and blockage of the gas engine. At the same time, it caused the Wei Qi to dissipate, and the Wei Qi completely dissipated outward. After dispersing, the qi weakens and people are more prone to injury and illness.
In real life, you will find that people who often stay up late often do not conform to the laws of yin and yang in the four seasons, do not conform to the laws of "time", and do not follow the order of time. How about that? Resistance will decrease, mood will be bad, and the mind will not be clear, which will lead to illness. So this is the third point, without concentration, one's spirit, qi, and consciousness are also weak. We see many people who often stay up late with pale faces, cold hands and feet, and fatigue all over their bodies. They may appear cold on the surface, but their hearts are still very hot and burning. When they stick out their tongue, the tip of their tongue turns red, and their hair is still white and falling out. Their feet are still afraid of getting cold and lack energy. This is all caused by long-term inability to concentrate, lack of proper rest, and inability to purify the mind, resulting in weakened yang energy.
Once the yang energy weakens, it is easy to get sick. Children are "pure yang bodies". How do they play and make noise? How do they go out to play and make noise in rainy, windy, or snowy days without getting sick? Why? Because he has abundant yang energy, even if he gets sick, he can recover in just two or three days. Looking at it the other way around, elderly people get typhoid fever when exposed to the cold outside. After catching a cold for many days, they can't recover. I found that some elderly people still have cold symptoms for one or two months, cough, and even trigger asthma. They stay in the hospital for the first half of the year. Such elderly people are particularly common. What are the reasons? It's just that Yang Qi is weak, it's just that Qi is lacking. How is Qi lacking? It is caused by lack of concentration, inability to follow the order of time, and inability to maintain a clear mindset.
